Congratulations to Doug Hanson!

From Doug:

Though I accepted a position with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in late May, I only received confirmation of my start date today, so now it is really official. I start on July 6th and will be a Division Chief at the Board of Veterans Appeals in Washington, DC. I am very excited to be getting back to work and also to be able to help other veterans.

I deeply appreciate the great support and friendship I experienced from everyone associated with the CTGs. I was a regular in the original Wednesday morning group and the Monday morning group. All the encouragement and prayers were extremely helpful during my career transition process. Special thanks go to Jim, Jim, Janis, John and Tony for their leadership of the group(s) and wonderful ability to consistently come up with relevant and timely topics and lessons to discuss.

 

My advice, following two years of career transition, is to help and encourage others, remain faithful that the Lord will lead you to the right place and to remember to show your love and appreciation to your family.
