Mid Level Windows Administrator – Noon to 9pm Shift

Job: Mid Level Windows Administrator – Noon to 9pm Shift! in Richmond, VA

Our client has an immediate opening for a junior to mid level Windows Administrator/Support Analyst.

Important: Must be willing to work 12 noon to 9pm shift. This is an excellent opportunity to grow with a great company!

Network – Active Directory skills, Windows server experience, but Linux would be good, too. They will be rolling out applications to the Tomcat application server as well as IIS server. The environment is 90% Tomcat 10% IIS.

Roll out Symantec patches

Rollout server patches through WSUS

Must have some (even light) SQL experience. Any will do ..Oracle, Mysql, Sql Server. They will be executing rollout scripts for production systems and need to be aware of error codes to report back to Developer manager.

There is no SQL development required but familiarity with it will go a long way in this position.

Summary: 20% SQL 80% Network – application rollout, app server knowledge.
