GATE: Growing America Through Entrepreneurship
Welcome to the Project RICHMOND GATE Website. GATE – Growing America Through Entrepreneurship – is designed to help dislocated adult job seekers over the age of 45 start and expand their own small businesses in the Greater Richmond region.
This is a job creation program. Participants in the project will be given access to special training and assistance in applying for small business loans. This is an exciting and unique opportunity brought to our region through a partnership between the Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration (DOL/ETA), the Virginia Community College System and the Community College Workforce Alliance (CCWA).
